Trisha’s role as a Malayalee Christian, Jessie, in ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ took us by awe and left us speechless; one can rightfully say it proved to be a milestone in both the lead roles’ career.

This is probably because of the close-to-reality portrayal by Gautham Menon in this film and perfect girl next door image of Trisha. Another key aspect of the film was that it ended on a positive note, when one’s love doesn’t work out they move on in life and not roam about in the streets as psychos always, as most films portray. This was an instant hit among the young.

We had earlier told you that the movie is being remade in Hindi by Gautham Menon as ‘Prem Katha’ and stars Amy Jackson of ‘Madraspattinam’ fame along with Prateik Babbar.

Here are a few stills from the sets of ‘Prem Katha.’ How many of you think Amy, who proved in her debut that she is a skilled actress, will live up to be B-town’s Jessie?
